Boat #50, Riding the mighty Colorado River

In 1869 John Wesley Powell led the Powell Geographic Expedition, a three month long trip down the Green and Colorado rivers. He and his companions became the first white men to pass through the Grand Canyon.

    I'm a day late with this comment, but I wanted to say I found the music to be one of the real strengths of your book trailer; it definitely put me in mind of tall waves. Thanks for giving such an in-depth (pun not intended) account of how you did it. As a long-ago banjo player, I'll gently mention five strings is the norm, not four.
