I would love to do a review of johnathan and the big blue boat ( my sons name is Frederick so this would be adorable to share) and sick day for Amos McGee. Could you please let me know of your Australian puablishing house so that I can contact them for a few review titles.
Rebeccathirteenredshoeshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16726306115622947854noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3925851776690769828.post-23423175577436394082012-01-10T11:51:32.915-05:002012-01-10T11:51:32.915-05:00Erin and Philip, Thank you so much for including M...Erin and Philip, Thank you so much for including MELVIN on your list! I want everyone I know to own a copy of A Place to Call Home though, so if you can only buy one that'd be my recommendation. But really, nevermind, they're all good. Just buy 'em all!Philip C. I like seeing his fingerprints (both literal and figurative) in his work. Some illustrators work very cleanly (not me). In Eric Carle's originals you can really see the evidence of an artist working spontaneously in the studio. I love that.Philip C. ENVY. Of course, I'd like to just visit that museum. (Or, you know, in a dream world *work* there.) I bet seeing those up close was unforgettable.

I always look forward to this post.
